Hi, I’m Stephanie Rocío Miles, raised in the Sultana del Valle, I lived in Berzerkley for close to a decade and I current live and work in Beantown. I work at an academic library where I do original cataloging of items in all formats, train staff and students, and in general help out with whatever needs to get done in the department. My boss does know about this blog and I do NOT speak on behalf of my employer.

Every day I come across interesting articles that I want to share with everyone I know. Instead of clogging up people’s email accounts, I figured this is a better way of sharing information. Hopefully while reading my posts you will learn something interesting about the wider world we inhabit, or the library field in particular.

Allen Smith’s quote sums up the entirety of this blog;

Hola, me llamo Stephanie Rocío Miles, fui criada en la Sultana del Valle, viví casi una década en Berzekley, y ahora resido y trabajo en Beantown. Trabajo en una biblioteca universitaria donde hago catalogación original de material en todo tipo de formatos, capacitación de asistentes bibliotecarios y estudiantes, y en general de ayudo con lo que haga falta en el departamento. Mi jefa sabe que este blog existe, y en NINGÚN momento hablo en nombre de la institución para la cual trabajo.

Todos los días encuentro artículos interesantes que quiero compartir con todo el mundo. En vez de llenar sus cuentas de correo electrónico, se me ocurrió que es una mejor manera de compartir información. Ojalá mientras lea estos artículos aprenda algo interesante sobre el mundo en el que vivimos, o sobre el campo de las bibliotecas.

La frase de Allen Smith describe la intención de este blog perfectamente;
