I could only find this article in Spanish, so sorry for those of you who won’t be able to read it. It’s an interview with Colombian president Álvaro Uribe Velez. The interview starts out as the reporter asks the president how he feels about the fact that USA president Bush will only be visiting Colombia for a few hours. (Colombia is the only country in his Latin American tour where Bush won’t spend at least one night.) The humorous thing about the interview is that throughout the entire time, the reporter continues asking specific questions about Bush’s visit, drug control and eradication, Plan Colombia, Colombia’s support for the invasion of Iraq, and “para-politics”, and all the time Uribe blatantly avoids being caught on tape by failing to state a clear position on any of these issues.
